Concepts will be releasing their collaborative Nike SB "Lobster" Dunk on Saturday, May 31st. The shoe, inspired by the seafood heritage of New England, will be available in a limited edition set, available exclusively at Concepts. The first 200 pairs, which include the limited packaging, come equipped with a lobster claw rubber band, a tee shirt, a condiment box (which includes lobster shell cracker, fork, bib, an extra set of laces, and wet nap) and a poster, all put into a traditional paper bag used by typical, New England lobster retailers. Not only will the packaging and bag be branded with the "Concepts Fishing Company" graphic, but the release at Concepts will also be catered by Legal Seafoods, who will be providing lobster appetizers. The release will be followed by a raffle for some additional exclusive goodies. After successful launches of the past few Yo! MTV Raps Collection, a second round of this years collaboration is about to hit retail. In round one, colors were wilder and brighter, colors are much more muted this time around. With just hints of the previous collections colors making it on to this pair of Puma First Rounds, most of the upper is made up of just blacks and whites with a bit of silver. This second round of collaborations will include the above Puma First Round, Puma RS100, Puma Basket and Puma Match. Look for them at Puma retailers and Footaction Thursday May 15th, 2008.

The Puma RS100 was introduced to the the Puma x Yo! MTV Raps Collection in round one of this years collaboration, this new colorway is releasing as part of a second round of new products. Similar to the Puma First Round we posted earlier, this RS100 also lacks the strong bright colors from round one. Black and White continues to be the theme on the upper and only a shot of lime is used on the heel and as accents in less noticeable areas of the shoe. This second round of collaborations include the above , Puma RS100, Puma First Round, Puma Basket and Puma Match. Look for them at Puma retailers and Footaction Thursday May 15th, 2008. ALTA, Iowa—A 78-year-old legally blind man nicknamed “The Hammer” has bowled a perfect game. Dale Davis of Alta, Iowa, nailed 12 consecutive strikes and reached 300 on Saturday night during league play.
Century Lanes owner Clem Ledoux said Davis’ game didn’t draw much attention until he reached 10 strikes. That’s when folks poured out of the bar to watch his final two shots.Davis, who stands 5-foot-8 and just 115 pounds, threw a “Brooklyn,” where a right-hander strikes the left side of the head pin, for his final strike. The feat brought wild cheers from Davis’ fellow bowlers and onlookers.
I’m happy for “The Hammer” and everything, but aren’t we all “legally blind” when we go bowling after 12 beers. This guy still has vision in his right eye, and I bet you anything it’s better than mine when I’m shitcanned.
Props to the AP for picking up this story. You know you have a winner when you can write about two guys named “The Hammer” and Clem in the same story.

A North Carolina maker of electric cars, Green Vehicles, has unveiled the Triac, their latest offering poised to hit the American market this summer.
This 144V lithium ion-powered pure electric vehicle will join Aptera’s Typ-1 and Venture Vehicles’ VentureOne in a growing list of environmental friendly EVs.
The latest updates from the manufacturer have revealed that the highway-capable Triac will have a top speed of 80 mph (or 128 km/h) and a range of 100 miles (or 160 km) on a full charge. The vehicle comes with a five-speed transmission and an onboard charger that will be able to charge from both 120V and 240V power sources.

You won't get great results over EDGE, especially for video streaming—but it's a really nice implementation, even if you're only going to watch a little TV from another room on your home network. OrbLive is freeware, and as you can see in the video, requires a jailbroken iPhone or iPod touch. Not jailbroken yet? Freedom is just 45 seconds away.

A new type of aircraft resembling a zeppelin with wings has recently had its type certification application accepted by the United States Federal Aviation Administration.
According to the company’s president and CEO Igor Pasternak, the Aeroscraft ML866 utilizes adjustable buoyant and dynamic lift, creating unique capabilities beyond current air platforms.
The Aeroscraft is capable of hovering, taking off and landing vertically, giving it complete autonomy from airports. This ability to reach locations inaccessible to conventional aircraft will open up new frontiers in travel for business and leisure.
With a cabin area of 500 sq meters (or about 5,000 sq ft), the Aeroscraft is almost five times as spacious as a conventional business jet. It can glide through the skies at an altitude of more than 3,500 meters (or 11,500 ft), reaching speeds of more than 200 km/h (or 124 mph).
The craft’s mammoth size, spectacular aerial viewing deck and fully customizable interior will provide great functional flexibility, making it suitable as a cargo vessel capable of timely direct delivery even to remote locations, as a luxury sky yacht for travelers headed to the most exotic of locations on the planet, or as a hi-tech business conference center in the sky.
With its type certification already in the works, the aircraft may take to the skies earlier than other much publicized conceptual “zeppelins” such as the “Manned Cloud” by French designer Massaud or the Strato Cruiser Airship we previously featured.
